Council Proposed Building Acquisition on Krukut Riverbank

City Council proposed five homes in Kemang area, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta stood atop the riverbank must be acquired. Such way is deemed a must in order to anticipate the collapsed wall of the home on Krukut riverbank on Saturday (8/27) in the future.

Iman hoped City Water Management Dept could monitor the riverbank and reservoir in the capital periodically.

"This is not only focused on reparation but also the other anticipation such as in Pesanggrahan and Krukut rivers," he expressed.

He also stressed that temporary handling in Kemang is directly done by Water Management Dept. Considering, the area is the center of a business that should not be paralyzed.

"If it is needed more budget for acquisition, we'll help. But maybe it's too late and could be brought in next year's budget," he uttered.
